National Museum (Muzium Negara) it was built by the British and Selangor governments in 1898. During World War II, museum was destroyed. After Malaysia independence on 31 August 1957, the federal government decided to build the national museum again and National Museum opened for publicly in August 31.
National Park (Taman Negara) Taman Negara contains some of the oldest rainforest in the world and spans thousands of square miles of protected land. Taman Negara National Park was established in 1938/1939 as the King George V National Park. Park was renamed Taman Negara after independence.
