D-Link launched new Wireless Router DIR-600

The networking company D-Link has launched its Wireless Router DIR-600 which is based on draft 802.11n technology on July 21, 2009. The DIR-600 provides better wireless coverage and speeds over standard 802.11g1.

The DIR-600 extends the wireless range, speed as well as also support with your existing 802.11g wireless devices. The DIR-600 also supports WPA and WPA2 authentication. The DIR-600 includes Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) with a push button feature that sets up and activates your network security functions.

DIR-600 features Wi-Fi scheduling which can shut down your wireless network when not in use and automatically powers down ports that have no link, for further power savings; reduces energy consumption by using an Energy Star qualified power adapter.

The DIR-600 is available at an approximate $56 with three year warranty.
